Abstract The aim of this article was to investigate whether child and adolescent’s sexual offender (SO), with without psychopathy, differ in relation their ability manage stress distress. Thirty prisoners serving time jail for crimes against children adolescents participated the study, which divided into two groups: G1 SO considered psychopathy (N = 20; PCL-R <30); G2 10; ≥ 30). instruments used were: a protocol collecting information on criminal proceedings; Rorschach test according Performance Assessment System (R-PAS), considering variables distress domain, Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R). data were analyzed using Student’s t-test linear regression analysis. results showed that 16% explained by lower level
